Understanding cardiac rehabilitation
The World Health Organisation defines cardiac rehabilitation extremely clearly:
“The sum of activity and interventions required to ensure the best possible physical, mental, and social conditions so that patients with chronic or post-acute cardiovascular disease may, by their own efforts, preserve or resume their proper place in society and lead an active life.”

Our cardiac rehabilitation approach
Cardiac rehabilitation involves a comprehensive treatment plan, built by a team of experts, that addresses various areas that could be contributing to cardiac problems.
Structured exercise, healthy lifestyle and dietary choices, plus stress relief counselling are all part of an effective personalised cardiac rehabilitation program.

How we do cardiac rehabilitation
We approach cardiac rehabilitation through group sessions, to encourage interaction and work with individuals going through a similar rehabilitation journey.
Our classes take place in an environment that allows for – and promotes – cardiac rehabilitation education, group discussions and learning.
